THECALIFORNIAOFFICE (TCO) is a design office founded in 2020 by Peter Himmelstein and Jeff Soler in Los Angeles, California. TCO creates ideas, architecture and interiors. Our work is inspired by the tradition of innovative architecture that has defined Los Angeles for generations. We have a narrative process in so far as it gives logic and structure to our ideas and helps to build the identity of each project. At the same time, our work is shaped by programmatic and site constraints, context and the goals and aspirations of our clients. Our work is modern, happily eclectic and open to interpretation.
